Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 5, 2026

1. Scope of this policy

This policy covers data used on the Darsak website, teacher spaces and student app. Darsak provides individual teaching spaces within one ecosystem. Access to information depends on the user’s role and the service used.

2. Account and contact information

Information you provide may include your name, contact details, registration information and educational profile. Provide accurate information and never include passwords or verification codes in support messages. Required fields depend on your account and registration flow.

3. Content and learning activity

Service data includes teacher content, student membership in a teaching space and educational activity. Activity records support the learning experience, usage tracking and active-student billing. An active student completes at least three educational activities during a month.

4. Why information is used

Information needed for the service supports account creation, access to permitted teaching spaces, content and quizzes, requests and payments, billing reviews and technical troubleshooting. Processing must have a stated purpose and an appropriate legal basis, with consent where required.

5. Who can access information?

Student learning information is associated with the relevant teacher space. A unified app does not grant teachers unrestricted access to each other’s spaces. Hosting, support and payment operations may involve service providers within the relevant purpose, or disclosure where legally required.

6. Cookies and site preferences

The website remembers your language for routing and stores your light or dark appearance preference locally in your browser. You can remove these preferences through browser settings and may need to select them again. These preferences do not constitute consent to marketing use of your data.

7. Security and retention

Access controls and account protection form part of operating the platform. No technology guarantees absolute security or prevents all copying. Retention needs depend on providing the service, resolving billing and legal obligations; this policy does not specify one retention period for all data types.

8. Your rights and choices

Subject to applicable law, you may request access, correction, deletion or restriction of processing, object to certain uses, and withdraw consent where processing relies on it. Identity verification may be needed and some records may remain subject to legal retention requirements.

9. Younger students

Where a student’s use requires a guardian’s consent or additional data safeguards, those requirements must be met under applicable law. Do not share another student’s personal details, images or contact information without an appropriate basis.

10. Privacy requests and policy updates

When submitting a privacy request through the support channel available in the service, identify the account and request without unnecessary sensitive information. This policy may change as the service or legal requirements change; the revision date appears at the top of the page.
